Some Additional Iraq Trends from the Iraq Weekly Status Report

Here are four additional trend charts about the situation on the ground in Iraq drawn from the U.S Dept. of State's Iraq Weekly Status Report (30 pages, January 10, 2007). The State Department describes this report as providing "weekly updates in the eight key areas identified as pillars of U.S. Government policy." You can find the most recent report and previous issues starting at the link shown above.

The first shows crude oil production for the past 10 weeks.
The second shows crude oil export since February 2006
The third shows electricity production compared to electricity demand since January 2004.
The fourth shows the strength of the local Iraqi currency compared to the dollar since April 2nd, 2006

The Iraq Weekly Status Report is one of the sources used to create the Brookings Iraq Index whose trend charts we have been featuring in previous posts..
